Senita Athletics is a quality, women’s athletic clothing brand with affordable pricing.
Sports have always been near and dear to my heart and I have to say I’m pretty particular about what I like to wear. Fit, comfort and material are important when it comes to athletic-wear. As an avid fitness lover, I’ve gotten pretty sick of tucking my phone in my waistband and paying over $100 for a pair of good leggings. Needless to say, I was really excited when I saw some of Senita Athletics‘ ads with their great pricing and hideaway cell phone pockets; I had to try them out!

Senita Athletics Product Review
I’ve been a Lululemon lover since before it became popular, so I don’t usually have high expectations for other brands, but I can confidently say I really like Senita’s clothing I’ve tried – especially their leggings.
To test all uses, I’ve worn this gear for marathon training, lifting and cross- or high-intensity interval training. (Read: Am not just wearing this running errands, hah!)
Pricing
First, let’s talk affordable pricing – hallelujah!
- Tanks at Senita range from $14-24 (most in the $20 range),
- Sports bras and crop tops are $10-32 (most are at the $22 range)
- Leggings are between $15-40 (most in the $38 range) and
- Shorts are between $16-26 (most about $22).
The lower end of each of those ranges are items on sale right now. I’m a sucker for a good sale item and hardly pay full price for clothes, but even their regularly-priced items are at a great price point.
Pinnacle Pants
The Pinnacle Pants are amazing. I’ve had the hardest time getting any pictures in these leggings because they’re always dirty… because I always wear them first when they get out of the wash!
I love these because the material feels almost silky, they are high waisted (kind of firms up the looser tummy area post-baby), they move with you when you bend, aren’t see-through and have cell phone pockets that fit the iPhone in both legs.
I got the Pinnacle Pants in the color granite/sage. The fit is true to size based off their sizing chart. These pants don’t really show sweat, which is nice!
Hideaway Sports Bra
I’ve been on the hunt for sports bras that work well for nursing. They were sold out of the Speed Feed Nursing Sports Bra so I went ahead with the Hideaway Sports Bra because it has clasps in the back which make nursing easier.
I love that this sports bra has a cell pocket in the racerback! This makes it really easy to stash if you don’t have pockets in your shorts or pants.
I got the Hideaway Sports Bra in the color granite. Sizing-wise, I would recommend going with the your rib cage size instead of your cup size. I found support was lacking if I went with my larger, cup size, but support for high impact training was great going off my smaller, rib cage size.
Side Tie Tank
True to nursing-mama form, I am pretty over tanks that are uber-tight or have built in sports bras because access to the ladies is bad, so I went with the Side Tie Tank. I’ve had tanks in the past with a back tie and although it’s cute, I end up having to untie it a lot if I’m lying on my back for different exercises. This one has an adorable keyhole at the neckline.
I got the Side Tie Tank in the color stone. I sized down from the sizing chart because my size was sold out, but because it’s a pretty relaxed fit I haven’t had any trouble with it! The armpits don’t go up too high even in a size smaller to cause any chafing with running. If you’re running, you might want to keep the knot lower and looser so it doesn’t rub against your arms, but for lifting you can tie it higher without any problems. I have noticed if you’re really sweaty in this top (AKA running outside in Texas heat) the color does show sweat, but because I haven’t had that problem in their pants I think if you chose a different color it would be less noticeable!
Wrap-Up
All in all, I’ve really loved my Senita gear! The quality and fit are great and the price-point is perfect. Next I have my eye on the Swift 3 or Sprint shorts and their nursing sports bra when it comes back in stock!
